The Tuesday Tune-Up

: Add (only) List
The fantasy football regular season for most leagues is slowly coming to an end. Which means the majority of the teams are set with their lineups. However, for those teams that may need a win this week to make the playoffs or to advance in their playoffs, I have provided a list of players that could help you.

Due to the limited amount of players still available on the waiver wire, I have listed mostly players that would be considered a reach at best. However, these are just the type of players that could lead your team to a championship if they pan out.

Also, since it is now week 14, I have decided to not include a list of players to drop and will not for the rest of the year. I feel most of you are pretty sure of the players on your team that are crap.

All this being said, I hope you find this list helpful in your run to a championship.

Oh and Winless, you were right. None of the players on my week 13 list would have helped you for our week 13 matchup.

Weekly Pickups

Alex Smith, SF, QB - Alex has been named the starting QB for week 14. If you are desperate for a QB, Alex could be the best option available. At least in week 14 he gets to face one the Seahawks who are spotting one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL.

Drew Stanton, QB, Lions - I guess as long as you have Calvin Johnson to throw the ball too it does not matter who your QB is. If you need help, pick up Stanton cause he is going to get fantasy points as long as CJ is on the field.

Tashard Choice, RB, Cowboys - He was on my add list for week 13 and didn't disappoint me. If he is available, make sure to add him now. As long as Barber is out Choice has a lot of value and could be a major factor during fantasy playoffs.

James Starks, RB, Packers - Starks came off the PUP list during week 13 and got 18 carries to Brandon Jackson's 4 and gained 73 on those carries. However, the Packers are now reportedly looking into using a running back by committee approach for the rest of the year. Starks will probably be the 1st and 2nd down back with Jackson as the 3rd down back and Kuhn on the goal line. However, out of the three backs, Starks will have the most upside. But keep in mind that the Packers are a passing team first and which will make Starks at the most a reach flex option.

Marshawn Lynch, RB, Seahawks - Ok, he has been on my crap list all year. So, now that he has made the "add" section is even a surprise to me. But I have decided to add him as a resutl of his 3 TD day versus a bad run defense. I think that taking a flyer on Lynch may payoff if the Seahawks are able to keep moving the ball down the field and provide Lynch with the chance to pick up goal line TDs.

Roy Williams, WR, Cowboys - I don't like Roy that much when it comes to fantasy football, but with Dez Bryant out for the year Roy will be the #2 WR for the rest of the year. If you are in a league that plays 3 WRs, it wouldn't be a stretch to play Roy as your WR3.

Deon Butler, WR, Seahawks - Both starting WRs for the Seahawks might be out for the game against the 49ers. I feel Butler will benefit more than any of the other WRs. He has good hands, is fast and runs routes better than Golden Tate (who will probably be the #2). If both starting WRs are out, Butler will be the #1 and has the ability to post a decent game. Butler will not be your top or even second best WR this week, but he makes for a good option if you play 3 WRs.

Cameron Morrah, TE, Seahawks - Cameron filled in nicely for the injured John Carlson and had some huge catches playing out of the WR spot. With both of Seattle's starting WRs nursing injuries Cameron might be called upon again for week 14. Cameron could be come a good TE option for the rest of the year with all the injuries the Seahawks have a WR.
