Pac 12

Well, Utah has been invited to the Pac-10 conference, and they would be absolute idiots to turn it down. They showed in their Sugar Bowl shellacking over Alabama a couple years ago that they can play with anyone in the country. Utah is fully expected to accept, and Boise St is most likely kicking themselves big time for jumping the gun and moving to the Mountain West. Congrats on that move BSU, you've succeeded in doing absolutely nothing for yourselves.
Anyway, with Utah expected to accept the invite from the Pac-10, that opens up the door for a conference championship game, which for me personally as a Pac-10 team fan, is going to be just awesome to have. I'm always bummed every year that after the last game of the season in the Pac-10, it's going to be at least 2-3 weeks before seeing a team from the conference play. Now, I haven't had to worry about watching bowl games much, being a WSU fan and all, but it's still cool to know that there will be a game to determine who goes to the Rose Bowl.
It's great that USC (after sanctions) will no longer have as easy of a path as before. A conference championship game gives underdogs a chance, which is good for the conference, and good for college football.
Oh, and Big "12?" Have fun watching other conference championships on TV instead of playing in one yourselves. Might as well hand the conference to Texas and just take a rain check for the next few years.
Go Pac-12!
